Studio Pottery Experience
Our artists in residence, Finn and Harry, offer an exclusive hour and a half “Studio Pottery Experience” to those wanting to explore their creative potential with clay. Take the potters wheel for a spin and learn the basics of making plates, bowls and cups. Playing with clay and its satisfying sensations is what the experience is all about and by the end we will have you elbow deep in mud.
About the Studio Pottery Experience
Each Studio Pottery Experience is a private session with you and your friends or family. Please note on the booking calendar that ‘1 Space Available’ means 1 group, not one person!
We also offer to trim, bisque, glaze and fire your pieces in some of our favourite glazes and post them home to you. This batch process takes about 6 weeks and is $25 per piece, not including postage. You can decide what to keep on the day! Pottery is fun for all ages and ability. Most of our guests have never tried before, and often the kids are better than the parents!
$150 per group of 1-3 people, $35 for each additional person. Up to 12 people.
$180 for a family ( 2 adults and 3 or more kids under 18 )

PAYMENT
Full payment is required to secure your booking. Payment must be made by credit card.
The Studio Pottery Experience at Happs Pottery are very popular and often booked out, particularly during the school holiday period.
RESCHEDULE POLICY
If you wish to reschedule:
A reschedule made 14 days or more prior to the workshop can be done once. If a reschedule must be made again, Happs Pottery reserve the right to charge a 50% cancellation fee.
If a reschedule request is made within 14 days of your workshop, Happs Pottery reserve the right to charge a 50% deposit which will be refunded if your place can be filled.
We cannot guarantee that your desired date will be available even if the calendar is showing an availability.
CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event of cancellation:
Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to your workshop date can be rescheduled once or receive a full refund in the form of a gift card.
Cancellations made within 14 days of your workshop date can be refunded in the form of a gift card if your place can be filled.
Cancellations made within 4 days (96 hours) of your workshop date are non-refundable.
If you are unable to attend your workshop due to COVID or similar travel restrictions please advise us as soon as possible and you will receive a gift card which can be used to purchase a workshop another time. If you notify us within 48 hours of your lesson, Happs Pottery reserve the right to charge a minimum of 50% cancellation fee.
If you do not show up for any reason without advising Happs Pottery, the workshop is non-refundable.
If a workshop needs to be cancelled by Happs Pottery (e.g. due to illness or unforeseen circumstances), you will be offered a full refund or an option to reschedule.
